US President Joe Biden recently said he was considering lifting some tariffs imposed by former President Donald Trump on hundreds of billions of dollars worth of Chinese goods in 2018 and 2019. In an interview with Reuters, Bianchi said it was looking to address the long-term challenge from China and get a tariff structure that really makes sense. This may mean that long-talked about tariff relief may indeed be coming. Once the relevant policies are implemented, this will undoubtedly be a positive for China’s exports and is expected to ease market sentiment.
Lifting tariffs on China is not only in the interests of Chinese and Us businesses, but also in the interests of us consumers and the common interests of the whole world. China and the US should meet each other halfway to create an atmosphere and conditions for bilateral economic and trade cooperation and improve the well-being of the two peoples.
